The Belgrade lakes do have some pleasant ones. Mcgath lake, snow lake. Loads of place. I'd extremely jump at the chance to make more excursions over yonder since it's extremely close to my place.

In the forested areas or on a lake? It is safe to say that you are searching for something prepared to move into and utilize or one that requirements remodel/be totally remade?
My dad has a couple of lakefront properties available to be purchased on Lake Sebasticook in Newport, just 35-40 minutes from Bangor. Since there are cabins as of now there, the separation from water is grandfathered so in the event that you were to totally revamp/modify you wouldn't require the standard set-back.

The first was in my grandma's family and where I spent summers as a child. It's on 3/4 section of land and sits ideal on a point on the south side of the lake with 275' of facing. Because of various family conditions throughout the years it hasn't been utilized much so it unquestionably needs some work, particularly the sheds. Non-ME occupants are exhausted by the direct water facade which is the reason my dad is keeping my uncle's home with a smaller part. See #8 on the connection beneath.

One of them could most likely be utilized as-is with some work, has 150' of facing and sits on 1/2 section of land. See #16 beneath.

The last one, while most likely salvageable, is in somewhat rougher shape. Despite the fact that it is nearer to the water, under 30'. Just about .70 sections of land and 102' of facing.

The specialist is Frank Pray-Realty of Maine #'s 8, 16 and 24.

I second Rangely, but it all depends on what you are planning on doing while you are there.
